John Kalafatis began his role as a Financial Advisor with First Command Financial Services in February 2025, bringing with him 21 years of experience from the United States Navy, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. John holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems from Southern Illinois University. He is licensed with Series 6 (Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law) credentials, as well as life and health insurance licenses across 27 states, including Florida, Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia.
